I live outside of the 3 mile radius you serve. Can you still garden for me?
Possibly, but you will pay a higher rate to compensate for my longer cycle. Feel free to enquire.
Do you do hedge cutting and tree pruning?
Yes, for small hedges I use hand shears, or larger ones I use a battery-powered hedge trimmer (winter only to protect nesting birds). I know what to prune when, and how to restore a plant to its prime using professional pruning techniques.
Do you do AstroTurf, fencing, or large landscaping jobs?
No. Large landscaping jobs/fencing is off the cards as it is hard to transport flagstones etc. by bicycle. I can, however, design and work with contractors to landscape, before planting myself. Astroturf is disastrous for the environment and goes against our core value of sustainability.
Can you mow my lawn?
Yes for small lawns (I use a person-powered mower) or if you already have a mower that you can no longer use yourself.
Am I eligible for the 20% discount?
If you are elderly or have any sort of health challenge or disability that would make doing the gardening yourself difficult, then yes. Equally, if you are on a low income (e.g. under £22,000 per annum) I’ll be happy to assist for the reduced rate.
Can you clear an overgrown area?
Yes. I have a battery-powered brush cutter and dig out brambles etc.
